This Privacy Policy explains how blanc (“blanc,” “we”), a brand of Amoré Orthodontic Aligners PLLC, collects and uses information through blanc.amoresmile.com (the “Site”). Any protected health information you provide for cosmetic dental care is handled under our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and is collected on our practice-management partner’s secure, HIPAA-covered systems — not stored on this website.

1. Who we are

blanc, a brand of Amoré Orthodontic Aligners PLLC, 130 Cass Ave, Mount Clemens, MI 48043. Contact: info@amoresmiles.com · 248-288-3570. blanc sells professional-grade teeth-whitening products online nationwide and provides in-office whitening services at our Michigan locations.

2. Information we collect on the Site

Order & account information you give us: name, email, phone, billing/shipping address, products ordered, and (for subscriptions) your renewal preferences.
Identity information captured into our practice system: for every order, we collect your name, date of birth, address, phone, and email into our HIPAA-covered practice-management partner GreyFinch to maintain your customer/patient record. This identity capture occurs on GreyFinch’s covered platform.
Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe; blanc does not receive or store your full card number on this Site.
Automatically collected: device/browser data, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location, via cookies and analytics (Google Analytics/Tag Manager) to understand and improve the Site. We do not send personally identifying information or any health information to analytics.

3. How we use information

To process, fulfill, and ship your orders; handle saved-discount refill reorders; and provide customer support.
To book and manage in-office appointments (Oral-B whitening, tray scans) through GreyFinch.
To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our marketing.
To calculate and remit sales tax as required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not currently share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we begin using advertising cookies/pixels (see Section 4), we will update this Policy and honor opt-out requests, including the Global Privacy Control. 4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for analytics (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) to understand and improve the Site. We do not currently run advertising pixels. We plan to use advertising and measurement technologies in the future — such as the Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixels — to measure our marketing and show relevant ads. When we do, we will identify them here and honor your choices: you can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of personalized ads through the advertising networks’ own controls, and we will respect recognized browser opt-out signals (Global Privacy Control) where required. We use consent controls (e.g., Google Consent Mode) to manage these technologies.

5. Sharing

We share information only with: service providers who help us operate — hosting (Hostinger), payments (Stripe), practice management/records and scheduling (GreyFinch), analytics (Google) — under appropriate agreements; and as required by law. Health information is shared only as described in our HIPAA Notice.

6. Saved-discount refills (subscribe-and-save)

If you choose subscribe-and-save pricing on gel refills, we save your contact details and discount preference so you can reorder quickly at the −20% price. We do not automatically charge or ship refills — you place each reorder on request (via your account or email). See our Terms of Service and Refund & Return Policy.

7. Your choices & rights

You may request access to or deletion of the personal information we hold, update your account, update your saved-refill preference, or opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email).
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA — see “Your California privacy rights” below. Residents of other states with privacy laws may have similar rights; contact us to exercise them.
Health-record rights are described in the HIPAA Notice.

8. Data security & retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (including tax and business records).

9. Children

The Site and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through the Site. Teeth-whitening products are intended for adults (18+). Minors receiving in-office care are handled through a parent/guardian via our practice systems.

10. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

Know & access — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., completing your order, security, legal compliance, and health records governed by HIPAA).
Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, you will be able to opt out via a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and the Global Privacy Control.
Limit sensitive information — direct us to limit use of any sensitive personal information to permitted purposes.
Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Categories we collect: identifiers (name, email, phone, address); commercial information (orders, products purchased); internet/network activity (site usage, device and cookie data); approximate geolocation; and, for in-office care, protected health information handled separately under our HIPAA Notice (HIPAA-governed information is exempt from the CCPA).
